The Lake

The lake was so much fun this year as the kids get bigger I think they love it more and more. Jaxson and Carter spend most of their time throwing rocks, swimming or trying to catch a fish. Jaxson actually caught three fish this year and Carter ate one of them. They both went skiing and we were even able to get Jaxson up on double skis this year. Logan and Payton both love being outside and playing in the water. Chris was able to be there with us for a couple of days which was really nice. It is so nice at the lake it is hard to leave, but it gives us something to look forward to next year.

Las Vegas

In June the kids and I went on trip to Las Vegas with my parents. It was so much fun the kids loved seeing everything there. The boys loved the Tournament of Kings show, but I think Jaxson's trip highlight was swimming with the sharks. He thought it was so great that he got to go on a waterslide that went through the shark tank. It was a great trip we all had so much fun so thanks mom and dad for another great trip.

Happy Birthday Logan!

Logan turned 1 and I can't believe how fast a year went by. He is such a fun baby always happy and very easy going. He is loved by his brothers and his sister and loves to follow the boys around and even gets on their wrestling matches sometimes. He likes to cuddle and tries to give kisses and whoever receives his kisses ends up with a very wet face. We had a little party for his birthday and he got to try his first cupcake. At first he was a little confused by the delicious treat placed in front of him, but after the first bite he loved it and even attempted to put the entire cupcake in his mouth at one time. He enjoyed presents especially the musical walker that Grandma got only problem is that he can't figure out how to play and walk at the same time. Logan is so much fun and we are so lucky to have him in our family.

He also has decided that he no longer needs to wear a bib so every meal starts with a fight to get the bib off and he always wins.

Payton's 3rd Birthday!

Payton turned 3 yesterday she was so excited to have a party and loved all of her presents. Her party was all about princesses she loves them now. We also had to add Buzz and Woody on the cake since she loves them too. She talked about her party for 2 days and tried to invite everyone to attend. When she woke up in the morning we gave her the princess bike which she loved especially the bell (I don't know what I was thinking). After cake and ice cream we gave her the dollhouse and it was an instant hit. Thanks to both grandparents for this great gift she loves it and has been playing with it ever since. Payton has been so much fun she is full of energy and keeps us constantly on our toes. She loves playing with her brothers mostly because they give her whatever she wants. She has dad wrapped around her finger and he is finally willing to admit that. She gives the best hugs and kisses and I love that she loves princesses and all the other girl stuff. I have been waiting for a princess party for what seems like years now. We are so lucky to have Payton she makes life exciting and fun. Happy Birthday Payton we love you!

Easter

This year the kids has so much fun coloring eggs. Payton loved drawing on them with a crayon first and then coloring them. The boys enjoyed putting the stickers on the eggs after they had colored them. Logan just liked to watch all the activity. They got their Easter baskets in the morning and had fun looking at all the stuff. We had to wait for the snow to melt so we could do the Easter egg hunt. The boys kept looking out the window to see if there were any eggs out. I know it looks like it was really warm out since they are both in shorts. My mom bought them new short outfits and they would not listen when I told them it was to cold to wear shorts that day. After the egg hunt we had a great dinner with my Aunt, Uncle, Cousins and Kolter and Lindsey. It was a great day and we enjoyed spending it with family and friends.

He is the best baby. He is so patient even with Payton who usually ends up waking him up by jumping into bed with him. He has the best smile and is so easy going. He is crawling everywhere and trying to keep up with all the kids. I love watching him play and grow even though most the time I wish I could slow all the growing down a little bit.

Disneyland and Seaworld

My parents took everyone to Disneyland and Seaworld for a vacation, and all the kids loved it. They all had so much fun riding the rides. The boys both rode roller coasters for the first time and loved every second of it. Once they went on the fast rides I had a hard time getting them on the other rides. Jaxson's favorite ride was California Screamin,which does a loop, and Carter's favorite ride was the Tower of Terror. They both loved Space Mountain and went on it many times, and every time they had their hands up in the air the whole time. Payton enjoyed seeing all the characters and loved riding Dumbo, Peter Pan, It's a small World and Nemo. Logan was the best baby ever and was so easy. They all loved Seaworld and had fun seeing all the fish and the Killer Whale Show. It was such a fun trip and it was great to be with everyone, and the kids had so much fun. Thanks again mom and dad for another great trip!!

Payton loved the maps and she loved her Grandpa. Most the time she would not even come to Chris or I, she just wanted Grandpa. Thanks Dad for chasing her all around both parks.
