I figured since most of the posts lately have been about the boys I would do a post and let everyone know what Payton is up to. Anyone that knows Payton knows that she is a very picky eater her diet consists mostly of Dino Bites, Fruit and Vegetables. I guess I should be thankful that she will eat fruit and vegetables. She has been trying some new things lately which is a very nice change. She started eating Mac n Cheese at lunch and this morning she ate oatmeal the only problem is she will not let anyone help her so it turns out to be a very big mess. She has also started talking she will say mom, dad and sometimes Jaxson and Carter.
This is her favorite new toy when my mom was in town she let each of the kids pick out a toy and J.T. picked out this piano. When we got home we realized how annoying it was so my mom being the great grandma that she is left it here for Payton. Even though it is the most annoying toy we have ever owned she loves it she carries it around the house and dances to it. I will say it is so fun to see the big grin she gets on her face when she is playing with it.
Payton is also very busy trying to do everything that her big brothers are doing. If they are running she is right behind them and if they are outside she wants to be out there with them. She also climbs on everything lately I have found her up on the kitchen table walking around. She definitely keeps us on our toes and as Chris says she runs the house. She is a lot of fun and we are so lucky that she is part of our family.

Kindergarten
When Jaxson came into my room this morning he was saying Kindergarten, Kindergarten he was so excited that it was finally time for him to start school. While we were eating breakfast he said mom I am really excited for school, but I am a little nervous. Chris called him a few minutes later to wish him good luck at school and then he was back to being excited again.
Jaxson picked out his backpack at Sportsmen Warehouse he really wanted a hunting backpack and it could hold two drinks he was so excited I kept telling him he had to make sure he liked it because the other kids might have backpacks with superheros on them and he wasn't going to get a new one. When we got to school all the kids had their backpacks with superheros on them and he looked at me and said don't worry mom I don't care if they have spiderman backpacks mine can hold two drinks.
Jaxson walked right into the classroom and found his chair he was ready to sit right down and get to work. This was really hard for me I knew I had to go but I wanted to stay just a little bit longer and make sure he was okay. When I started to feel the tears coming on I knew it was time to leave and Jaxson was already sitting at his seat coloring his bus he was totally fine with me leaving. I can't believe time went by this fast and he is already in Kindergarten I really hope that it is a little easier to drop Carter off at Kindergarten.
When I picked Jaxson up he had a huge grin on his face. Luckily his teacher had sent home a game with M&M's each color had a question about what they did that day. I was so excited because he actually told me a little bit about what happened at school.

Jaxson's First Soccer Game
This year we finally signed Jaxson up to play soccer. He has loved going to soccer practice and today when he woke up the first thing he asked is when are we going to my soccer game. For his first year he is actually not that bad he loves to go right in and try to get the ball his only problem is the direction he is suppose to go when he gets the ball. After many talks from Chris before the game about staying in the lines and kicking the ball in the right direction he did really well today.
There are twelve kids on his team and they each play 5 minutes at a time and every time they change players the coaches gather them together and remind them which direction they need to kick the ball it is so funny to listen to Chris remind the kids which goal is theirs.
Jaxson was so excited to get his jersey he kept looking at the number on his back and every time he came out of the game he would remind me that he was number 8 it was so cute.
He almost scored a goal a couple of times but came up a little short, but he was still very proud of himself. It was so fun watching him play soccer he is such a fun kid and we can't wait to watch his next game.

Carter starts Preschool
Today was Carter's first day of preschool and he was so excited to go to school. He got to take something for show and tell and of course he picked a ninja turtle. I was kind of hoping that he would be a little sad to see me go but I don't think he even looked back when I dropped him off. For some reason this was a little harder for me then when I took Jaxson for his first day of preschool. When we got back in the car it was so quite without him usually Carter talks nonstop while we are in the car and I have to admit after a while it starts to drive me a little crazy, but today I really missed hearing his voice. It was so weird not having him around for a few hours but he had so much fun at school and when I picked him up it was back to normal in the car he told me all about school the whole way home.

A visit from Grandma and J.T.
When I asked Carter who he wanted to invite to his birthday party the first name that came out of his mouth was Grandma. So my mom and J.T. came out for his birthday party and Carter was so excited. The kids all had so much fun playing together outside they were all driving the jeep and riding bikes all over the place it was so much fun to watch them. I wish that we all lived closer together so we could do this all the time it is so much fun to have mom around and it was fun to have all the cousins together to play. Thanks mom for making the trip out to Carter's birthday I know that it meant so much to him!
J.T. wanted to ride a bike like Jaxson so we put him on the little two wheeler he rode it for a few minutes and then he was done with the bike and he was back to the jeep.

Camping With Dad
This weekend was the father son camp out and the boys were so excited to go camping with Chris. They were both waiting in the truck while Chris was trying to pack and they kept saying tell dad to hurry up. They always have so much fun when they are camping with their dad they get to stay up late eat pretty much whatever they want and they get to get as dirty as they want without me yelling at them to get out of the dirt.
I think it is pretty clear from these pictures that I was not on this trip. I can't believe they are sitting there playing in the fire only a dad would sit and watch them play with sticks in the fire. I guess this is why dad is so much more fun then me and why I am not allowed on these camp outs. They both came home in one piece dirty but in one piece and they had tons of fun. Chris is the best dad the boys always have so much fun with him.

Cowabunga!
Today was Carter's birthday party he has been waiting all week long for his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Party. We had 10 kids over for the party and it actually went very well they all seemed to have lots of fun.
I thought it would be a good idea to make a sword for each of the kids the only problem was I forgot to make a sword for my biggest kid Chris. The kids were having so much fun hitting Chris with their swords and I think he was having just as much fun hitting them back. The swords were suppose to be for a relay race we were playing but that did not last long and then it ended up as one big sword fight.
Grandma Willis bought Carter a Leonardo costume for his birthday he could not wait to get it on. He looked so cute running around the house dressed as Leonardo.
It turned out to be a fun day Carter loved his turtle party and he had so much fun playing with all of his friends.

Best Aunt's Ever!!
Carter was so excited when he got home from his trip to the store with Aunt Kelly. I could not wait to see what he had picked out and out of everything in the store he picked roller skates. As soon as Carter got home he put his skates on he was having so much fun skating up and down the sidewalk.
All the kids in the neighborhood wanted to try on Carter's skates I think this was the first time Carter did not have to share. We let him play with his skates for one day without having to let anyone else try them.
As soon as Chris got home he had Carter trying to do tricks on his skates I have to say he wasn't that bad for his first time on skates.
Carter was already having the best birthday ever as he said many times that day and then he opened Aunt Gretchen's presents and he was bouncing all over the place because he was so excited. Gretchen always finds the best gifts and this year was no different she found him Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sunglasses (which he has not let out of his sight since he opened them)and some new socks. Carter loves when Gretchen gives him socks and this time she sent him Spiderman, Batman and Redskins socks he was so excited he had to wear the Spiderman socks to bed and then right after his bath he put on his Batman socks. So Gretchen again you made Carters day with all the gifts that you sent him we appreciate it so much and he loves everything.
Our kids are so lucky to have such great Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas and Grandpas thanks to everyone for making this day so special for Carter!!

Happy Birthday Carter!
Today Carter turns 4 I can't believe how fast time went by. He is excited for his big day today he gets to have his favorite dinner Pasta with Craisins in it and Aunt Kelly is picking him up and taking him to the store to pick out his birthday present. He is very excited to go with Kelly he doesn't get to do things like that very often so he can hardly wait for her to pick him up. Carter is such a great kid we have so much fun with him. He is my biggest helper around the house he will even stay home and help me clean instead of going out and playing with his friends. He loves helping with Payton and Aubrey I often catch him singing them Twinkle Twinkle Little Star when they are crying. He is very good at cuddling and loves to lay by you while he watches t.v. or a movie. He is very kind to everyone which makes me so proud. Carter also loves hunting, swimming and playing outside he loves swords and guns but his favorite toys are his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is such a great kid and we are so lucky to have him in our family.
