The End Of Soccer

Soccer has finally come to an end and I don't know about the kids, but I was ready for it to be done. With Chris coaching both of the boys teams it made for a very hectic schedule so it is nice to have a little free time. The kids both loved playing soccer and they especially loved to have dad as a coach. It was fun to watch both of them play, but when the weather started to get colder I was ready for the fun to end.

Jaxson's First Photo Session

While Brinn and Georgie were visiting she took pictures of the kids in the backyard and while she was doing it Jaxson got my camera and started taking pictures on his own. When I finally looked out the back and saw what he was doing I took the camera, but I thought that some of the pictures were pretty good for a 7 year old.

This is Georgie with Carter usually the most mellow kid on the planet, but I think that all of my crazy kids were making him a little crazy. He is the cutest kid and the kids and I were so glad to finally meet him. Jaxson and Carter just loved having Georgie around in fact Carter even asked me if we could name Logan Georgie because he was cuter than Logan.

Always trying to help

This is what happens when mom is running around trying to get all the kids off to school and Logan starts to cry. The boys are always right there to help and this time when I walked up the stairs I saw Carter inside the pack n play with Logan pretty much gagging him on his own binkie while trying to get him to stop crying. I guess I should just appreciate all the help, but it is a little hard when you then have to change the babies clothes because he puked all over himself from the binkie being shoved down his throat. I do have to say that the boys love their little brother and at times are the best helpers.

Jaxson's Pirate Party

For Jaxson's friend party he wanted a pirate theme and it actually turned out to be one of the best parties we have had. When the kids first got there we let them make their own treasure maps and then we went outside and let them put on all their pirate gear and played Captain says. Chris of course volunteered to be the captain I think he was having just as much fun as the kids at this party.

This is a pictures of the treasure map that the kids found while playing Captain says and then they were off on their treasure hunt with Chris their captain in the lead. It was so fun to watch them as they followed Chris and chanted "Follow the Captain" over and over till they arrived at the treasure.

This turned out to be a great party it seemed like all the kids had fun and Jaxson loved it. I know it won't be long before he won't want parties like this anymore, but it was really fun getting to find all the pirate stuff and watching all the kids as they followed Chris on their treasure hunt.

Happy Birthday Jaxson!!!

Today Jaxson turned 7 he is getting so big and is such a big help around the house. He loves to help with Logan and he is very good with him. He is also very good about letting Carter follow him every where he goes. He loves being outside riding his bike and going out looking for animals with his dad. He also loves to learn about all kinds of animals and sometimes I am very surprised at all the stuff that he knows. It is so fun to watch him grow up he is such a great kid and we are lucky to have him in our family. Happy Birthday Jaxson we hope you had a great day!!!

No More Training Wheels for Carter

After months of trying to get Carter to ride a bike without training wheels he finally decided that today was the day and with a little practice he was off. He was very proud of himself we still of to work on turning and taking off, but he is doing good. It is so funny how they can be so stubborn and then just decide they want to do something and they are off. We are so proud of Carter and can't wait to see him riding his bike all over the neighborhood.

Rednecks in Training

Some friends of ours went camping on Friday so we drove up and had dinner with them and the boys of course can not go out without putting on full camo and making sure the BB guns are in the truck. They had fun running around and shooting their BB guns with their dad. When I first married Chris he was not this into hunting and now that is all he thinks about and it seems that my boys are going to be just as into guns and hunting yeah for me.
