Chris wanted me to put some pictures up of the elk that he shot this weekend. This was the first elk that he has ever shot so he is very excited about it and so are two little boys. When they walked into our room and saw that he was home the first thing they both asked him was if he shot a elk. When I first met Chris he was not a hunter but when my sister married my brother in law who has hunted all his life he introduced Chris to the world of hunting and ever since then Chris has loved it. For me the only good thing about him shooting this elk was that he came home a day early and he is not hunting this weekend since he already got his elk other then that it just means a lot of meat in the freezer that I am not sure I want to try let alone eat.

Congrats Chris. Tyler will definately want to see these pictures! Tyler is so excited to go hunting next weekend. I hope he gets something too except it probably wont mean cutting the trip short because he goes with all of his brothers and they wont come home early unless they all get one. and you know the chances of that. This time em and Justin are going too. 5 days 4 nights of hunting bliss.......
dang that'll make make Casey jealous. Maybe even move to Utah becasue the hunting is way better

Good job Chris!! That is a big elk. Billy is so jealous right now, he is actually druling right next to me. Maybe I will post a picture of Billy's elk........if he ever gets one. Congrats!!!
