Star Wars Obsession

Ever since the boys watched Star Wars for the first time they have been completely obsessed with everything that has to do with Star Wars. So yesterday after watching Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back they all headed outside to play Star Wars. It was so fun to watch them Jaxson is always Luke and Carter will be whoever they tell him to be. They all always want to be a Jedi so they take turns being on the dark side because as I have been told many times two Jedi's can't fight each other.

This is what happens when you lose the battle they lay on the ground for a minute or so and then it is back to the fight.

This is a video of the boys having a fight they take it very seriously it is fun to watch Chris and I just laugh. The boys are so lucky to live in a neighborhood where they have so many friends to play with.

Jaxson's New Favorite Things

Jaxson got a raccoon hat and a rubber band gun for his birthday he loves both of them. He wears the hat everywhere he even eats breakfast with it on. On Sunday he asked if he could wear it to church and I had to explain that we don't wear hats to church. It is really cute because when he goes to bed at night he hangs it on his bed so he can put it on first thing in the morning. Chris also loved the hat and rubber band gun but this time Jaxson was not willing to share at least I know what I can get Chris for Christmas. The only problem with the rubber band gun is the rubber bands I find them stuffed in all of his pockets I guess he figures he needs to be prepared so he keeps a few in each pair of pants.

Jaxson's Pool Party

We had Jaxson's birthday party on Saturday with all of his friends I decided to have it at the pool since he would live in the water if we let him. He wanted a Star Wars cake for his birthday and to my surprise none of the bakeries were making Star Wars cakes so I gave it my best try. He seemed really happy with the cake and I saved about $15.00 so everything worked out well.

They all got goggles at the birthday party they were all different sea animals and all the kids loved them. I was actually surprised that some of them kept them on the whole time while they were swimming.

They all had so much fun swimming and going down the slides it turned out to be the perfect day it wasn't that crowded so it made it easy to keep track of where they all were. Jaxson has so much fun at the pool he asked if he could have all of his birthdays there.

Can You Say Spoiled?

Yesterday was such a fun day with Jaxson after waiting all day Chris finally got home and Jaxson got to open his presents. He was so excited to see what was in the packages it was really fun to see his face when he opened them. When he opened the DS he was so excited his face just lit up (I know he is spoiled rotten) he was also very excited to play Mario Kart and so was his dad I had a hard time getting them to stop playing so Jaxson could go to bed. After a long talk about taking care of the DS Jaxson came downstairs this morning and said "Mom am I doing good at taking care of my DS?" I said yes and then he said "I know how I can take care of it even better I just need a cleaning cloth." I was so proud of him I guess I am teaching him well.

Happy Birthday Jaxson!

Today is Jaxson's 6th Birthday he has been waiting for this day since Carter's birthday. He was so excited when he woke up this morning he wanted to open the packages that came in the mail yesterday right away so he was a little disappointed when I told him he had to wait for Chris. Jaxson is such a great kid he is a good helper around the house and a great big brother to Carter and Payton. He loves sharks and looks forward to shark week every year for a 6 year old he knows a lot about sharks. He loves fishing, swimming and hunting and he is always willing to try new things when we went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom he loved the rollercoasters. He is also very into Power Rangers and Star Wars when his friends are over they are often outside playing Power Rangers or Star Wars. He loves riding his bike with his friends and has grown up so much in the last few months. Jaxson is such a great kid he is so much fun to have around and we are lucky to have him in our family!

Fishing and a Favorite New Word

Since the boys love fishing so much we decided to go fishing as a family. This would have been a good idea if it wasn't so hot outside and we didn't decide to go in the middle of the afternoon. We were only there for about 15 minutes and Carter decided he was done and to be honest I was done as soon as we got there. Jaxson on the other hand would have stayed and fished all day no matter how hot it was outside. Ever since Jaxson started fishing he has wanted to catch a catfish and Chris told him that was what we were fishing for so I think he would have stood there all day if we would have let him. Out of all of us I think that he was the only one that was really upset that we left so soon. After this fishing trip I have come to the conclusion that fishing is something that Chris and the boys can do together and while they do that Payton and I will go do something that the girls can enjoy.

Payton has a new favorite word and it is MINE she says it loud and she says it clear and everything is "mine" no matter if she had it or not. She is more then willing to fight for whatever is "mine" so if she comes near you and says "mine" the best thing to do is either to give it to her or run. If you do run just beware she will chase you screaming and yelling "mine" the whole time. It is kind of funny to watch but I do feel bad for the boys when she is chasing after them and I feel worse when she catches up to them because they usually end up with at least a scratch somewhere on them. Then after the screaming and yelling she will sit and give you the cutest smile and look at you so innocently what would we do without her.

Boyfriend 5.0

My sister found this on Shane's cousins blog I thought it was too good not share with everyone.

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as

* Romance 9.5 and

* Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as

* NBA 5.0,

* NFL 3.0 and

* Golf Clubs 4..1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

* Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,

Desperate.

DEAR DESPERATE,

First, keep in mind,

* Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while

* Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0update.

* If that application works as designed, Husband1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.

* Please note that Beer 6. 1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0-program .These are unsupported applications and will crashHusband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend

* Cooking 3.0 and

* Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck Babe!
